ACCESSIBILITY

But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. You will be repaid at the resurrection of the just."

Luke 14:13-14

We aim to ensure that all who wish to come to church to join in with our services, for personal prayer and worship or just to enjoy the peace and beauty of the buildings and grounds, are able to do so regardless of any physical disabilities.

All Hallows Church, Bardsey

There are two access points from Church Lane. The one opposite Woodacre Lane has several quite steep steps but the one by the lychgate has only a small step and a ramp is provided to enable wheelchair access. There is a hard-surfaced pathway leading from there to the church entrance, which also has a step but again a wheelchair ramp is available. Inside handrails are provided for support, at key points, and a hearing loop system is installed for those with hearing aids.

Free on-street parking is available outside the church on Church Lane and a dedicated disabled space has been requested.

Access from Moor Lane, via the lychgate, is on the level, making wheelchair access straightforward. The churchyard can also be accessed by a hard-surfaced path.

Free street parking is available outside the church on Moor Lane and a dedicated disabled space has been requested.
