CHILDREN'S CHURCH

And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

We want to encourage children and their families to come to church and our 'Children's Church', held in All Hallows on a Saturday afternoon, is a great way to get involved with our church community.

These events are meant to be fun but they also have a spiritual and educational purpose. Games, competitions, crafts and of course food are mixed together with singing, prayers and a talk linked to a theme with a spiritual foundation.

It's our take on the more widely recognize 'Messy Church' but a little less formalised, if not always less messy! These afternoon sessions are aimed at children up to primary school age. There's lots of fun and things to do to keep active hands and minds busy. We hope that this soft introduction to church will encourage both children and their families to attend our more traditional services, particularly family services held on the second Sunday and fourth Sunday of the month at All Hallows and St Mary Magdalene, respectively.
